Lancelot Nelson opened Classique Jewelry on White Plains Road in 1992. More than thirty years later it is still the same family, at the same bench, in the same neighborhood. That makes us one of the longest standing independently owned jewelers in the borough.

The work happens here
Most jewelry sold online never passes through anyone's hands. Ours does. Repairs, sizing, stone setting and custom pieces are done at our own bench in the Bronx, not sent out to a third party. When you call, you are speaking to the jeweler doing the work or to his family.
What we do
Jewelry Repair
Ring sizing, stone replacement, chain and clasp repair, prong re tipping, restringing and structural work. Many jobs finished the same day.
Watch and Clock Repair
Batteries, crystals, crowns and stems, band sizing and full movement servicing across all brands.
Custom Jewelry
Bring a sketch, a photo, or a piece you no longer wear. We design it with you and make it here.
Fine Gold
Rings, chains, bracelets, earrings and pendants in 10k, 14k and 18k yellow, white and rose gold.
Diamonds
Engagement rings, tennis bracelets, studs and pendants, with honest disclosure on every stone.

How we do business
- We tell you what it is. If a stone is lab made we say so. If a piece is plated we say so. You should never find out after it arrives.
- You get a price before we start. No repair or custom job begins until you have a figure and have agreed to it.
- Nothing leaves the shop. The work is done at our bench, by our own jeweler.
